IT Support Technician
SK Microworks America, Inc. a world leader in polyester film, located 35 miles SE of Atlanta in Covington, GA, has an immediate need for an experienced IT Support Technician. This position is responsible for assisting and supporting end users hardware and software related issues, vendor management, account maintenance support, and conducting IT projects.Responsibilities:-Maintains user account information and authorities within information systems.-Maintains data in ERP, and MES systems.-Monitors and troubleshoots IT systems to ensure proper running status.-Ability to understand user’s requirements, and the knowledge to design and implement an acceptable solution.-Develops and maintains maintenance contracts, project specific vendors, and user relations.-Supports vendors to solve problems.-Remains informed of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements.-Maintains necessary IT documentation.-Analyzes departmental work processes to ensure efficiency.-Ability to take on responsibilities and work alone unsupervised if needed.-Conducts training for IT users.-Responsible for IT office tasks such as: billing, managing software/hardware licenses, purchasing.-Conducts and participates in IT projects.-Responds to urgent problems during after-hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.Education, Experience and Skills Required:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working in an IT department is highly desired but not necessary. Excellent communication, analysis, documentation, and organizational skills are required. Extensive knowledge of MS Office package, with at least intermediate Excel skills and fundamental knowledge of Database is required. Must possess an understanding of current U.S. business practices and demonstrate an eagerness to learn and grow. Production Operator
SK Microworks America, Inc. a world leader in polyester film, located 35 miles SE of Atlanta in Covington, GA, has an immediate need for experienced Production Operators.Position Summary: The Production Operators are responsible for operating assigned pieces of equipment in our production areas which may include: Slitting, Winding, Reclaim and Chip House in the manufacture of polyester film. Responsible for a variety of manufacturing duties including operating and monitoring machinery, visual inspection of product, inspecting and unloading of chip, and overall quality control. We expect our employees to exhibit positive personal behavior, have excellent attendance, be willing to embrace new technologies, be respectful of others, with outstanding attention to detail, and have a disciplined work ethic.Positions work a 12 hour rotating shift (2/3/2)Shift HoursDays: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Nights: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am(Rotate from days to nights every 14 days)Responsibilities:-Consistently and safely operates machines and systems in the manufacture of polyester film.-Trouble shoots, identifies and corrects machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.-Converts master rolls into finished widths and lengths in accordance with customer specifications.-Understands control systems in support of the manufacture process.-Follows standard running conditions to meet customer specifications.-Maintains both machine and work area to clean room specifications.-Able to inspect and recognize defective product.-Communicates with Quality Control Department on quality results and initiate corrective actions when required.-Operates assigned systems continuously and completes necessary paperwork. Industrial Electro Mechanical Shift Maintenance Technician
SK Microworks America, Inc. a world leader in polyester film, located 35 miles SE of Atlanta in Covington, GA, has an immediate need for an experienced Industrial Electro Mechanical Shift Maintenance Technician.Responsibilities:-Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production.-Perform electromechanical skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.-Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.-Work with PLC’s, Drives, DCS systems, Control Logic and other basic electrical components.-Document work in an automated work order system.The ideal candidate will have the following:-High School diploma or GED.
